Happy World Teacher Day! Without teachers, there would be no authors. I’m giving a great big shout out to Sheila Taylor, my ninth grade English teacher back in 1982 – no, you don’t need to do the math.
She always encouraged me, and after thirty-odd years and the tribe that is Facebook, we are in contact again. So thank you, Sheila Taylor!! I hope you are enjoying your retirement.
I’m back in contact with the teaching world again, since I have two middle-schoolers in my house. All I can say, is bless their hearts. I know that the bureaucracy that is teaching now can be overwhelming. Hang in there. You are reaching kids.
